Wendy Tigerman
Wendy Tigerman is a mostly-retired copywriter, comedy broadcast producer, and creative director inadvertising and entertainment. She's an L.A. native aka former Sorrento Beach bunny, student of Tibetan Buddhism, and tries to only do things that are fun and make her laugh.
She gardens daily, talks to strangers, and pesters her rescue pooches for love. She takes photos constantly, writes irregularly, and creates award- winning digital and mixed media collage.
In Wendy's visual work "first thought, best thought" guides her and she celebrates the mundane as spiritual.
She plunks down an image, responds to that, then responds to that until the collage makes her nod her head and exhale deeply. And sometimes smile like a goon. If you ask her what her work means more than not her answer is "your guess is as good as mine."
Wendy's purpose in life is to be kind, generous and to create visual moments. The process of creating Collage to the Rescue has more than fulfilled this purpose.

What is this book about?Collage to the Rescue is about loving dogs. And having them love you. It is populated by 44 dog-themed collages by different fabulous collage artists. It is about the good a book can do. Because 50% of the proceeds go to not-for-profit animal rescue organizations.

Where do these artists come from?All of these collagists are members of a FaceBook page, Collage Artists of America. Wendy is the admin. of the page. There are over 13.5 thousand members. When asked to submit collages featuring dogs, the response was overwhelming. It was nearly impossible to choose, but hey, life ain’t easy. It’s a cool FB page. Check it out.
